也称排笛，又一个迷人的古老乐器，吹孔气鸣乐器。流传于中国、欧洲及拉丁美洲的吹管乐器。其结构由长、短不同的竹、木或铜管按音阶编排而成。各国排箫的产生历史不尽相同，其性能相近似，形制与构造也各有所异。木制排箫音色圆润柔和，竹制排箫音色明亮。跟风笛一样，很多国家都有，但名称、用法、音色等等有所不同，我们来关注一下古老的美洲印第安排箫吧……

排箫是把长短不等的竹管按长短顺序排成一列，用绳子、竹篦片编起来或用木框镶起来。如果竹管长短一致，则在管中采到堵腊（深浅不同）而得到高低有别的乐音。故排箫有无底、封底两种，分别叫作“洞箫”和“底箫”。

排箫是一种古老的，以芦杆制成的乐器，曾是南美印地安人早期的通讯工具。这种取自大自然的乐器，充满了大自然奔放、和谐的意境，又具有一种太空般虚幻、飘渺的音色。

When i first saw this advertised i couldn't wait to hear it. Iwas not disappoined when i did! I may only be a teenager, but wheni heard today's pop songs being played by panpipes, i couldn't stoplistening to this incredible box set. Its up-to-date in today'spop, but calming and relaxing aswell. It also includes some alltime classics like Simon and Garfunkel's 'Sound of Silence' whichis so good it's now one of my favourites! It also includes 'AveMaria' and Enya's 'Orinocho Flow'. If your lookin for something torelax to but don't want something classical (string orchestras etc)or out-of-date, then this is for you. Enjoy it as much as idid. 

I found every song of the Album totaly relaxing and enjoyable.I recommend this CD Set, to the Panpipe listeners, assuring themthat not only will they feel relieved after hard office hours of atedious business day but they also will have a chance to taste thesoft catchy tunes of this joyful melodies.
